This approach allows for embedded BI and integration APIs. It does not restrict data size or data refresh and allows the business to control its appliance and IT resources for the Smarten platform. The business can publish a report or a Smarten object to a public user with a permanent URL. No long-term contracts are required. All Smarten Cloud pricing plans and subscriptions are based on a monthly or annual plan.
Subscription plans are bundled to support a group of users. When you establish the first Smarten Cloud user account for your business, you will choose a subscription plan based on your business requirements. Each subscription plan provides access for a specific number of users. Account management, billing and payment for all users is managed by the user who established the account, and that user then becomes the ‘Administrator.’ The Administrator may invite users, and provide access via the Smarten Cloud ‘My Account’ page (See, ‘How Do I Add/Invite Users to My Account’ in the ‘Using Smarten Cloud’ Section of these FAQs)

Base Plan Users are power users with Self-Serve Data Preparation, and SmartenInsight (Assisted Predictive Modeling) power user access. These users can create datasets, BI objects and predictive models as needed.
Add-On Users are view-only users. They cannot create objects in Smarten Cloud. They can view objects created by Base Plan Users, and shared with Add-On Users.
An online payment option is available from the ‘My Account’ page. Follow the steps below to complete your online payment.
FREE TRIAL: Following the thirty (30) day FREE TRIAL period, you must renew your plan manually. The Smarten Cloud FREE TRIAL account does not include an automatic renewal option.
SUBSCRIPTION: Following the expiration of your subscription plan, you must renew your plan manually. The Smarten Cloud account does not include an automatic renewal option.
Smarten Cloud does not support recurring payments or automatic renewal. You can renew your subscription at any time, either before expiration, or within ten (10) days from the expiration date of the plan by selecting ‘My Account > Subscription’.
Note: If you do not renew your subscription within ten (10) days after the plan expiration date, your account and stored data will be permanently removed from the server. This data and account information cannot be restored.
You can upgrade your plan at any time. The Smarten Cloud team will calculate your usage in the existing plan, and charge only the remaining amount for upgrade.
Example:
If you register on 1st Mar, 2023, you will have a thirty (30) day free trial, expiring on 1stApr, 2023. If you subscribe to the Standard monthly plan on 20th Mar, 2023, your subscription is valid from 20th Mar 2023 till 20th Apr, 2023. If you upgrade your Standard Plan to a Premium Plan on 10th Apr, 2023, we will calculate and deduct the remaining period charges from the original Standard Plan, and apply it to the new Premium plan charges as illustrated below.
Here, the plan amount for Standard is USD $24.99 per month, and for the Premium plan, it is USD $59.99 per month.

You can buy an Add-On User plan at any time during your active subscription period. The charges for an Add-On User plan will be charged proportionately, from the date you buy the plan till the expiry date of the Base Plan. If you upgrade the Add-On User plan, you will get credit for the remaining days of the Add-On User plan, and that credit will be deducted from the new Add-On User plan amount.
Example:
If your current Base Plan expires on 10th Jun 2023 and you buy an Add-On User plan for 5 users @ $4.99 per user per month on 1st Jun 2023, you will be charged $ 4.16 for 10 days only till 10th Jun 2023.
If you add more 5 users to the existing Add-on User plan on 5th Jun 2023, you will be charged for 5 users for 5 days only.
The Add-on Mobile app Users are also charged the same way.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Be aware that you will not receive a refund for any usage balance in your account.

You do not need to install any software to use Smarten Cloud. Smarten Cloud is a Software as a Service (SaaS) product, and it is accessed through a web browser. No desktop application is needed. All you need is a stable internet connection, and a web browser (Chrome v108, Firefox v107, Safari v15.6 or Edge v107 and above).
Each plan supports a specific number of users. For example, the Standard Plan provides access for three users, including the Administrator.

Note: If the number of users you want to add/invite exceeds the maximum number of users supported by your subscription plan, you must upgrade your plan to accommodate the new requirement.

You can configure delivery and publishing scheduler for an object such as a report, and that report will be sent to the recipients (any Smarten Cloud user in your account) as per the scheduler frequency, e.g., sales report should be sent to sales team users at 7:00 a.m. every Monday morning.

The Smarten Mobile App license is an add-on that supports existing Smarten Cloud users. To use Smarten Mobile App on a mobile device, the user must be a Smarten Cloud user. For example, if a business has a Smarten Cloud Base Plan for five (5) users and a User Add-On plan for five (5) users, you can add some or all ten (10) existing Smarten Cloud users as Mobile App users to satisfy their roles and business needs.
Smarten Mobile App provides access to Dashboards, Crosstab, Graphs, SmartenView, GeoMap, Tabular, KPIs, KPI Group, Clickless Analytics - NLP Search, Snapshot Alerts, Repository, My Favorites, Export, Recent Objects and Share – all from within the mobile app. Users can login with a Smarten Cloud login, browse and search Smarten objects, and access objects for interactive analysis.
Users can download Smarten objects via PDF, XLS, and other file formats and share via WhatsApp, email or other sharing app loaded on their device.

Once you have a Smarten Cloud plan and mobile app add-on access for the Smarten Mobile App, users can download the Smarten Mobile App from the appropriate app store (for either Android or iPhone) and can then configure the Smarten Cloud URL detail, user name and password within the Smarten Mobile App, and begin to use all the features and functionality of the mobile application.

We take data security very seriously, and have implemented robust security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted and stored on secure servers, and we comply with industry-standard security protocols.
In order to load data files that are larger than 100MB simply:
Example: Date set size= 180MB. Split the dataset into 2 files and upload both files to create a dataset.
Note: Smarten Cloud will load data into a dataset, up to the records limit established by your subscription plan. Uploaded data that exceed the subscription plan limit will be ignored.
The number of rows (records) is the sum of rows stored in all datasets created in your account.
Example: If you create 3 datasets with 100000 records each, the number of rows is counted as 300000 rows. Smarten Cloud will ignore all the records beyond the number of rows limit established by your subscription plan.
You can periodically upload/push/import data into Smarten Cloud through any of the following supported means:
We support several algorithms for forecasting, classification, regression, clustering, associations, hypothesis testing and sentiment analysis techniques. We will add more algorithms in the future.
Note: You can import PMML models created from other tools and platforms. Smarten Cloud supports nearly all types of predictive models via PMML, except for Time Series.
Smarten Cloud Assisted Predictive Modeling has built-in support for auto selection, to choose the best fit for an algorithm based on your data. However, if you wish to use a different algorithm, you can switch to another available option.
Auto Insights receives your dataset as input, and applies suitable predictive techniques, then generates insights automatically.
Smarten Cloud supports PMML models within its workflow, to enable interoperability of the predictive models created in other platforms (such as R and Python), and to utilize those PMML models to make predictions on operational data.
